Summer Fair

Yesterday, we had the Summer Fair at North London Rudolf Steiner School which turned out to be a great success.
Such a lovely sunny family day, with loads of activities in the garden, fantastic international food (I ate loads...) and of course our craft stall we've been working hard for.

Pomatomus for July

YEAH!
The sock-club's choice for July is Pomatomus. Beautiful socks.

My first pair I made in Lorna Lace's Sunshine which are lovely
- and the new one will be knitted with Noro's Kureyon sock-yarn. Find a finished pair on Ravelry in the same color (188) and they look FAB. So I keep knitting... with my lovely new Rosewood needles.

Preparations for the Summer Fair

Last bit of finishing off and preparing for the craft stall at North London Rudolf Steiner Schools Summer Fair - Music in the Garden. If you happens to be in North London on Saturday 28th June, you are welcome to visit. We will be there 12.30pm - 4.00pm.
Lots of children's activities, international home-cooked food, pizza baking in the out-door clay-oven, craft from natural materials and of course a variety of music.

Nothing seems to leave my hands...

Struggling a bit (quite a bit) at the moment.

I normally don't start to many project at the same time as I so enjoy finish things off. But at the moment nothing seems to be finished.

Struggling BIG times with my hairpin-crochet (gaffel-virkning). Not so much with the crocheting itself, but to join it. Hrm. Hasn't given up yet, but seems to have to give it many "go's", which is not really my cup of tea...

Got some lovely, lovely alpacka recently, so I started with a hat for the boys. But this seems to be to big, so either I have to find some with much bigger head that my little boys, or start all over again - which is not really my cup of tea...

Hrm!! (again)

Off to do the last bit of craft for our schools summer fair coming Saturday 28th June.

Look what the postman brought today.

This was in the post today. My order from Garnharvan, including tutorial and pattern in hairpin crochet.
Cannot wait, have to get started...

... and some other balls/skeins came too...
Link...and I who had plans to make more brooches for the North London Rudolf Steiner School's Summer Fair, 28th June. Well, I guess it has to wait.

I'm back in blog-land

Our camera is back from repair and again working - YEAH! So here are some photos of what has happened lately.

Clover socks on their way, couldn't resist making them as I'm so into knitting cables, now as I learnt how to do it.
A stash of pot-holders to go for sale in my Etsy shop.
...and the most useful Tote in the world - I can fit my life in it...

No Camera...

Our camera collapsed last weekend during Elliot's 4th birthday party.
Not that I have much to show of finished objects, as most of last week were spent baking and cooking for the party, but still - there are some small things coming out of my two hands.
I just finished is a bag like this: http://www.purlbee.com/elisa-nest-tote/
Will send off the camera for repair tomorrow, so hopefully we'll have it back soon.
Meanwhile I will start with the Clover socks and hope to have them finished before the end of June.
