Sock replacement...

The new "Fabel-socks" for my beloved have been hibernating for some time, due to other project, but is now finished. As the socks I made for Premen's birthday shrunk after only one wash, here are the replacement-socks.
StickaMera's sock-club gave us a pair of bonus-socks for Easter - Quill Lace from Knitty. Quite like them and might make them as a spring present for myself.

April socks are also out and looks like this.

But for the moment I'm very tempted to make myself a hat from one of Ysolda's wonderful creations - Rose Red, Verity or Gretel. I'm so sold on her patterns. What a inspiring and talented young woman...

Struan

A quickie this morning - just want to share the hat I finished last night. A fantastic well fitting hat I made for my beloved husband. Hasn't had time to take a photo of him yet, so here am I (in the early hours of the morning) in this great hat.

The pattern is from the fantastic Ysolda and this hat is called Struan - Try it!

This might be the last post for some time, as the big house-move happens tomorrow and we will then be on the move for some time.

Long Time No Seen...

My husband has been away for work - and with him our laptop... (A weeks work on Teneriffe, poor thing. I know, it was hard and busy work, but anyway - Teneriffe...) Me - I've been at home packing... We are moving out on Good Friday, so here we are in a very messy house, stumbling over boxes and cleaning stuff. I say moving out, because we will not get into the new house until 1st of May, so on Friday we go on a six weeks adventure. It all worked out well and we've found places to stay - I'm especially looking forward for my two weeks in Sweden, to catch up with family and friends.

Here is something little I have squeezed in between packing and cleaning - more birthday pressies for little friends.

Elliot and Zak trying new hats for their friends Lily and Ruby.

More of Ana Paula's Honey Bears for James and Liam.

Amigurumi Bear with Honey Pot

It is certainly birthday times, and as I do like making toys and dolls, I just made a little Bear with his Honey Pot from Ana Paula's pattern for Liam 4. I just love those little figures and couldn't resist, so I have now ordered her book from Amazon. Longing to see it pop through the letter-box. Just have to stop myself, as the coming week must be designated for packing and cleaning as the date we move out of our flat is coming closer...

Waldorf Doll Course and Pocket Gnomes

Feeling a bit tired tonight, mostly due to a terrible last night with boys taking turns keeping me awake. So it will be an early night tonight.

We, my friend Keiko and I, also had our second (of three) day of Waldorf Doll Course today. Busy, fun and creative afternoon with seven very productive ladies making their first Waldorf Doll - either with stockinette or knitted body. Good fun! & loads of kids running around enjoying themselves.
Elliot and Zak's two dolls - Bam-Bam & Bam-Bam.

Knitted boy & girl dolls by Keiko.

...and here are some small friends I made earlier this week - four little pocket gnomes... (now listed in my Etsy shop.)

Domino Socks - Don't Like Them...

Wanted to challenge myself and started to knit the Domino socks - thought they looked exciting. But I don't like them at all... What a stupid way to knit - and soooooo many strings to fasten at the end. Worse of all - they seems to be so big.
So I dropped the whole thing. And as I don't feel very excited about the other pair for March knitting either, I think I just drop it this month. Or maybe I make another pair of the February socks, for myself this time...
